About me
Allyson McFalls is a 21 year veteran NBCT educator, with experience across grades 6-8 in both science and ELA. She has successfully coached students through local, regional, and state competitions each year for over 20 years, and enjoys collaborating with other educators to expand student access and achievement in science research opportunities and competitions. McFalls has served as an Advocate and Lead Advocate with the Society for Science, collaborating with fellow educators across the country to successfully implement independent science research programs within their schools and communities. She currently serves as the Ambassador of the Western NC STEM Fellows program, working with educators across the region to increase educator access to and confidence in leading students through independent research projects and competitions.
