About me
With more than 25 years of experience teaching mathematics, Katherine has worked across nearly every level of education, from middle school and high school to early college and community college, in both public and private settings. A National Board Certified Teacher and AP-certified instructor, Katherine brings deep expertise in curriculum design, student support, and instructional innovation.
Katherine has served as the North Carolina Central Region Math Fair Director with the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCCTM) and has led professional development workshops statewide, including extensive work with the North Carolina Community College system. As a long-time teacher mentor, Katherine is committed to supporting educators in strengthening their practice and building confident, capable mathematics learners.
