About me
April Dula is a 7th Grade Social Studies teacher at Jacobs Fork Middle School with over 23 years of experience in education. She leverages her background in English Language Arts and her AIG certification to design rigorous, interdisciplinary instruction that integrates literacy with historical inquiry. Ms. Dula regularly collaborates with Larkin Ingle to develop innovative, real-world learning experiences, including the Empty Bowls: Hunger, Art, and Humanity project, which connects historical study with art and contemporary issues of hunger. She is committed to fostering critical thinking, amplifying student voice, and promoting meaningful learning that extends beyond the classroom
