Academic Innovation Conference 2026 has ended
Wednesday June 10, 2026 10:10am - 11:10am EDT
Project SUMMIT (Sharing Unified Methods in Math Instruction & Teaching) is a cross-district, cross-institution initiative in Western North Carolina designed to improve Algebra outcomes by building a regional network of teacher-leaders, instructional coherence, and shared best practices. Grounded in teacher voice and rural context, SUMMIT convenes educators, university partners, and state leaders to identify “what works,” map alignment across grades, and co-create an Algebra framework that elevates mindset, instructional practice, and systemwide support. This session will share SUMMIT’s process, tools, findings, and early bright spots, offering participants a replicable model for regional math improvement.
